My research focuses on the development of a methodology for large-scale ecosystem disturbance detection at the global scale based on MODIS Land Surface Temperature (LST) and Vegetation Indices data. I am broadly interested in the ecological applications of LST data including the upper limit of surface temperature, the influence of vegetation on the expression of LST and the relationship between radiometric LST and site-based air temperature measurements.
